solvent-based inks which carry a 108 year UV fade resistance rating. 
They have a special hand-applied semi gloss coating which serves to 
 make the image colors exceptionally vibrant and provide an extra 
degree of scratch and smudge protection. 

The Giclee process

a decade and is now an accepted method of art
reproduction in galleries and museums
