Above: The very first 'creative' photo I ever took. The flower is floating in a glass bowl.

ABOUT 'CHARLIE'
This image is the very last one I made on my very last trip (of many) to New Orleans where my youngest son was attending the School of Architecture at Tulane University. (He is now a successful architect in San Francisco.)
It was almost dark on a quiet weekday when I took the shot and the image that resulted was of poor quality with very bad exposure. I had been 'Photo Hunting' in the French Quarter for a number of hours with only moderate success and was headed back home because the light was almost entirely gone. I was on Bourbon Street.
As I came to a cross street, I don't remember which one, I glanced to the right and saw 'Charlie' walking along the sidewalk - a considerable distance from me. Luckily I had a long focal length lens already mounted on my camera and was able to quickly aim and focus it to make a single exposure before he turned and crossed the street.
Weeks later while trying to 'save' the image in PhotoShop I was experimenting and manipulating it a number of different ways and this image resulted. It later became the very first image that a friend of mine who does digital output sign-making and I put on canvas. It was our first, but definitely not our last. We dubbed the canvas "Charlie" because of the resemblance to Charlie Chaplin.
The first 'Charlie' canvas we made was literally the size of a door - 80 inches in height. I mounted it on a hollow core door.
'Charlie' is still with me.

Don't try to 'guess-t-mate' a price
when making a buying decision.
A two-times larger canvas is not twice the price
and a half size canvas is not half the price.
